When Dr. Shadeed and Dr. Rouw started the Pediatric Vision Development Center of Gwinnett in 2007, they found that while there were many EMR options for primary care optometry, none met the needs of their vision therapy exclusive practice. They decided to work with Far Reach to develop an administrative web-based system for their office. As their practice grew, they wanted to expand their current web-based system to address programming vision therapy sessions and to make writing vision therapy reports more efficient. They are now involved in helping Nu Squared develop a software solution that is designed to meet the needs of individual vision therapy practitioners.
